All hand-made lace front wigs are carefully crafted to form a knot on the base by tying individual hair strands to the bud-like mesh. This technique is called ventilation.
When using darker hair, these knots appear as small dots on the lace base, which is apparent in appearance. Lighter hair color lace wigs or gold lace wigs do not require a bleached knot because the color of the knot is already very light.
Type of knot
The difference between bleached and unbleached knots. Single junction ventilation techniques are usually performed at the hairline, which produces very small knots. Some lace wigs are made entirely using single knot technology but are often more expensive.
Double knot hair ventilation techniques usually begin after the hairline and the rest of the wig cap. Double knots are safer and usually use more hair bundles, however, the knot looks significantly larger.
