The tools needed to clean and care for your wig will be a wide-tooth wig comb, high-quality wig shampoo and conditioner, a wig, a towel, and any styling tools you need later. High-quality tools and accessories to help care for your hair wigs are essential to extend the life of your unit.
Step 2: Wet your wig
Dispose of the person’s leave in a sink or basin and put it in cool water. Gently push the wig with your fingers to ensure that the water flows from the crown to the end. Take extra care when cleaning curled wigs. Make sure the wig is fixed so that the water does not cause any additional tangles and knots. For longer hairstyles, leave the fake under the showerhead so that the hair can flow along the length of the hair as it flows.
Use a quarter of a person’s hair wig shampoo while keeping the hair moving down. Avoid rubbing, twisting or massaging the wig as this can cause tangles. Also, avoid using any circular motion as this will add tangles to the hair and may damage the hair.
Step 4: Adjust
Adjusting your wig is critical to increase moisture and volume. When the hair is still wet, apply a large amount of conditioner to the hair to avoid using the bottom of the wig. When the hair is immersed in the conditioner, gently angle the wig with your fingers, from the tip to the crown. Pass the conditioner through the end of the hair for about 3 to 5 minutes.
