Whether you are buying a French or Swiss full lace wig or front lace wig, cutting lace will be a delicate procedure. Before you start, put a wig on your hair (realistic with flesh tones) and get the wigs out. Once you’ve secured all the scattered hair, start cutting out any extra lace around the wig. Beginners should leave at least half an inch of lace around until they are used to shaping their own lace. Professionals usually cut their hair very close to the wig hairline to make it look more natural.
